Living in this very small village in the midsweden inland, next to a big river, one of our favourite spare-time activities is of course FISHING! It´s really not very often we come home from a fishing tour without a good catch. This time was a little bit special, since my sons girlfriend Katarina was about to become a big game fisher , and that without any previous experience. We took the boat and left for the fishing tour in the afternoon. After a couple of hours and a couple of small pikes, suddenly Katarinas rod made that very significant bow, showing that there was something down there - something BIG.... We let her do all the work herself, something she really handled greatly! After 15 minutes wrestling with this pike, it came up to the surface and a minute later it was landed. It really was extremely fun to see the luck on her face when realising that she now was a big fisher, and that she had done it all by herself.
