Ramil Latypov is a very talented painter, living in Ufa, Bashkortostan, Russian Federation. When I was there last time I visited him, just to have a glance at his paintings. His style covers a big area, from surrelistic painting to an exquisite talent for portrait-painting. Ramil has spent time in both the USA and in Great Britain, and is a member of The British Art Society. I found a very interesting and lively person, extremely multi-talented, with a wide-spread collection of paintings. I found the painting Faun´s rest to be a picture of myself 30 years ago, so I just couldn´t leave it. I can hear Bob Dylan in the background when I look at myself softing on the sofa....
