Yeah, I've only been in Paris once but I can't wait to go back! I can understand why you were dissapointed by the lack of celebrations, I would expect New Year's in Paris to be something spectacular, right!? I was there in early autumn a couple of years ago but I think I'll try spring next. May, June or so must be beatuiful, the city in bloom and all, just like you said.

Hi Ellinormaria, thank you for your email - yes i was there with my partner from the 30th December 2007 to 2nd Jan 2008. Paris is one of my favourite places i have been three times and loved every one. It was particularly good at New Year although i was a dissapointed by the lack of celebrations - no fireworks or anything! Much better to go in Summertime when the champs elysse trees are all love...

I can see that the photo is taken the 30th of December, so I am guessing you spent New year's Eve in Paris? What was that like? I always wanted to do that....:-)
