You must go on island Hvar, Korčula, Brač. You can easy find apartment when you arrive becouse June is not full season. But you can also look and book at internet. http://www.croatiaapartments.net/

It is very complicated with Bus. You must first go to Rijeka,becouse airport is on island KRK, and with another bus to Rovinj. It is much better if You can fly to Pula, and Rovinj is close and You can go by taxi. Alternative is to rent a car.

I suggest Korcula if You vant to see nice town and island, and if You need fun and night life, but also nice places than visit Hvar. From Split You have ferry or fast ships to both islands, and it is little bit crowded-many cars and people but it is enough boats every day. If it is many people they put out of the schedule lines.
