NYC revisited

Thirteen years ago I left a city I both loved and hated. When the question to go back presented itself, I felt more than apprehensive. Once, I had decided to leave - should I really go back? I had carefully closed the door to the city those 13 years ago. Would old memories come back to haunt me, now when I opened it again? Once the tickets were bought and I realized I really was going, I frantically started to plan. There were dear friends to see, old places to revisit and new ones to explore. My husband on the other hand, was new to the city. What did he want to see?
