Dubrovnic till Porec
Hej.
Tips annars. Har aldrig varit i Kroatien.
Bugar och bockar för hjälpen.

Hi,
I am from Croatia and living in Rijeka.
I think that what You want to come to Croatia and visit all from Dubrovnik to Pula is very nice.
As I understand You will be here 14 days?
It is enough to visit very much. From Dubrovnik to Pula You have about 700km if You go on motorway (about 350km). But it is better to go along the adriatic coast ( about 680 km- but 15 hours). In few days it will be OK.
If you want I will tell You what towns and places You must see on Your trip

Borisk:
Thank you for your answer. I would love to get som more help from you regarding town and places to visit. We don't like yetset-places but more calm and cozy places. We also like nature but we are traveling with kids so we can't go hiking for 6 hours a day.
How is it to travel with train? The oldest kid love trains so we thought that maby we can go by train if it is possible. Thank you again for your help. We need all the help we can get. There are so many places that seems to be lovely.

Halo.
If it is possible You must avoid trains in Croatia. There are many reasons for it. First there is not easy conection between Dubrovnik and Pula. You will spend few days to travel with train instead of 10 hours by car.
Trains are very slow. For example from Zagreb to Spli by car You can go for 3,5 hours; by train it is 6-7.
I think it is best to rent a car.
You must see Cavtat place near Dubrovnik. http://www.tzcavtat-konavle.hr/index.php?lang=en
Also when You go to north You can see Makarska http://www.makarska-info.hr/en/1/home
If it will be possible You can go from Makarska to island Brač (Sumartin). It takes 60min by ferry. You can spend a night on island and see all places on Brač. ( places Brač, Milna, Bol...) and from Brač You can go to Split by ferry from place Supetar. http://www.bracinfo.com/
From Split You can go to Šibenik (1,5 hour) and if You want see River Krka national park (20min from Šibenik) http://www.sibenikregion.com/en/natural-heritage/national-parks/krka-national-park.html.
After Šibenik Zadar is destination that must be seen. (60 min). http://www.zadar.hr/index.asp
Near Zadar You have 3 national parks:1) Islands Kornati http://www.kornati.hr/eng/index.asp
2) Plitvice Lakes http://www.np-plitvicka-jezera.hr/en/index.php
3) Paklenica mountains http://www.paklenica.hr/paklenica_en/index_en.html
From Zadar it is best tog to island Pag ( accros the bridge) and see little town Pag known for cheese and lace. After that You can go from Pag again to lan by ferry (Žigljen-Prizna) and after that along the coast to Rijeka (2,5 hours). It is 1,5 hour driving from Pula. In next post I will explain what to see around Pula.

Hej!
Mycket vackert land.
Njut
