the white building is the church of our lady,123meter high still not finished building started 1352 till 1521,the inside is also stunning decorated with paintings from Rubens

oléron is small ,flat ,so bicking is the thing to do and the food is fantastic,fresh oisters and other fish; beautifull beaches nice little towns with local markets.I would recommend it when i was there june there were lots of muskitoes so bring you're spray.
