Hi again! Yes in the old days there were two piers working in Brighton, Palace pier and West Pier. I remember them both so well. Yesterday I looked at google maps and surprise surprise I even could see the house in Hove where I lived, thanks to the satellite pictures. Amazing! It depends very much on when you are going and where. For example: to go to Thailand from the 20th of december 2008 until the 15 of january 2009 you should book the tickets on the 19th of february 2008 to get the cheapest tickets. After that day they will rise week by week, and if you try to book lets say after the summer, it can really be quite expensive.

Perhaps when you were there the old pier still was working? Now it´s only a steel skeleton left, and a new one has been built in the direction towards Hove. However, we had a really nice weekend, and I wouldn´t mind going there again.
