Bed & breakkie hostel, Edinburgh

Hi folks, for all those who wonder how my weekend in the Scottish capital Edinburgh was I can now tell you: great! I, together with two Swiss; Marco and Rahel plus the French lady Caroline went with EasyJet from Amsterdam, Schiphol airport to Edinburgh. After a 25 minutes trip with dubbel decker (Scania-) bus, where Caroline was a bit amazed over the brittish houses which in Edinburgh's nicer suburbs are in colourful shapes. I reccon we all felt it a bit strange to drive on there on the left side. I shuldn't really be surprised after my trips to Manchester but I cannot help it, it feels new everytime I meet this "phenomenon". So recent before this trip as just a few days I heard in a Swedish radio program that we in Sweden changed from driving on the left side to the right 1967. That too feels strange. Soo, my mother has actually had the opportunity to drive on the "wrong" side of the road - and that would have been perfectly legal!
However, we arrived to the Backpacker where we where about to spend two nights just before 2 pm. It is a very central location on the Backpackers with Princes street just around the corner and the North bridge just a stone through-distance away. If some of you at some point would like to go there just aim at Burger King at Princes street and there just behind you found it. Ok, I have to say that this place wasn't maybe the most luxerous hostel but for 88 Scottish Sterling pound for two nights/4 persons I think it is ok. Also, we got a free Sunday dinner, in our case baked potato, coleslaw and a lot of cheese. On the Sunday, the second day, I also realised that the hostel hold two Swedish girls, (Linda and some more) both 19 years old, recently graduated from Tingvalla gymnasium in(!) Karlstad. Karlstad, or Carl's city - MY city! The world is small or what? Later on at Sunday-night 66 percent of the Swedes gethered in "the cave" whitch is the common room at the Backpackers. There Marco won in a football game and two Irish "brothers" thought it was really interesting to talk to one Swiss lady and one French lady.
That was part one of my Scotland adventures. And what did I do in the cave? I practised some Swedish with Linda.
