Vägtull i Slovenien?
Hej!
Nu är det några år sedan vi tog bilen söderut och det är dags igen! Har läst på något ställe (vet inte var!!!) att man endast behöver betala för körningen på motorväg i Slovenien. Vet ngn om detta stämmer? I så fall kanske man kan spara in den kostnaden när man tar sig från Kroatien till Italien via den lilla snutten i Slovenien? Har för mig att vi kört på småvägar där. Är det möjligt/värt besväret/enda alternativet? Någon som vet och kan hjälpa mig? På väg ner kör vi via Villach - Ljubljana till Zagreb så då blir det motorväg.

I know it's maybe a bit to late but still. I can give you information from the first hand since I'm Slovene.
You're right, you have to pay a toll/vägtull when traveling Slovenian roads. We call it "Vinjeta" This is due to the high transit trafic I guess. Gladly there is an option to buy different kinds of "Vinjeta", from one day to one year vaildity.
I guess you can also take the ferry from Italy to Croatia, even go around Slovenia through Hungary, but I asure you that this will be a much bigger expense than passing through Slovenia.
My personal advise is to at least stop in the idyllic 1000y old city called Škofja Loka that lies 20 min before Ljubljana (if you're coming from the north side). There is a place called "Pizzeria Jesharna" just across the bridge on the central busstation. You won't regret it : )
I hope I'm not too late, I've heard that Swedes plan their trips way in advance :)
