Vill resa till Maldiverna i februari och är ovaccinerad. Det behövs pcr-test vid inresa, men det krävs även ett test efter ankomst och i väntan på svar får man vara i sin villa/bungalow. Är det någon som vet hur länge man måste vänta? Får man inte gå ut, bada, äta och så under tiden? Och vad händer om svaret är positivt?

Vi mellanlandar förmodligen i Istanbul, men det ska nog inte ställa till problem vad jag förstår. Och vi kommer ju in i Maldiverna med ett negativt pcr-test max 96 tim gammalt. Jag funderar på det där med test efter ankomst, som det står om på Vings hemsida, men ser inte det nånstans på Maldivernas egna hemsidor över kraven. Det verkar mer som att man får vara beredd på slumpvisa tester, oavsett man är vaccinerad eller inte. Mexico har väl inga krav på vare sig covidpass eller pcr-test, som jag har förstått det. Det kan ju ändras, men nu finns nog inga krav alls mer än möjligtvis att fylla i en hälsodeklaration.

det är just det allt är så osäkert om man skulle hamna in en slumpmässig kontroll oaktat vaccinbevis, ok det är ju väldigt bra om man kommer igenom Turkiet utan vaccinbevis då man ska mellanlanda där på vägen till Mexico , jag har också läst det att de inte har krav men det är ju allt på vägen som jag känner lite oro för. Du har inte funderat på att kolla med någon turistbyrå på Maldiverna, sweden abroad, jag följer en del par via youtube som reser nu under pandemin och brukar fråga hur läget är där dem befinner sig för tillfället och vad länderna kräver, så det kan kanske vara ett tips ? Jag fick jätte bra tips av en kvinna från Schweiz som reste med sin familj ovaccinerad.

det verkar vara 14 dagars karantän på Maldiverna om man skulle bli smittad som man får bekosta själv enligt ovan. Lokala regler kan ändras med kort varsel varpå svenska resenärer rekommenderas att hålla sig uppdaterade.

All tourists should hold a valid negative PCR test result with a sample taken at most 96 hours prior to embarkation at first port enroute to Maldives. This requirement is not mandatory for children below the age of 1 (one) year.
All tourists should hold a negative PCR test result, of a test taken within 72 hours of checking-out of a guesthouse from any inhabited island.
Tourists who have received all the prescribed doses of a Covid-19 vaccine that has been approved by W.H.O for emergency use, and is listed in Emergency Use Listing (EUL) or by Maldives Food and Drug Authority, and have completed 14 (fourteen) days (prior to date of arrival) after receiving the prescribed dose(s) of a vaccine, will be allowed to check-in at a guesthouse on any inhabited local island. Accompanying children and infants who are not eligible for vaccination, may also check-in at guesthouses in local islands.
Tourists (including accompanying vaccine ineligible children) who have not completed the full dosage of vaccination, will be allowed to check-in to guest houses on local islands, if and when the following vaccination requirements are met in the guesthouse island:(a) 60% of the island’s total population have completed 14 days since receiving the full dosage of vaccination.
(b) 95% of the tourism related service providers in the island have completed 14 days since receiving the full dosage of vaccination.
(c) 90% of the individuals above the age of 65 (sixty-five) living in the island have completed 14 days since receiving the full dosage of vaccination.

Jag tror inte det ska vara några konstigheter under själva resan till resemålet. Om de inte ändrar regler helt plötsligt, sånt kan ju hända så man kanske inte ska boka alltför långt i förväg. Alternativt se över reseförsäkringen, men det är väl bra att göra ändå. Jag kollar olika hemsidor över rekommendationer och Maldivernas egna och kan efter vad jag kan se åka dit utifrån nuvarande regler. Det var ett bra tips, att kolla med folk som är där nu eller nyligen varit där. Det går säkert hitta på instagram.
